in the Appellate Division and reverses the Trial Court decision dismissing a mortgage foreclosure case based upon retroactively applying a new statute that limits bringing a lawsuit within 6 years of date of default. The Court agreed that since the mortgage predated the statute, it cannot be applied retroactively – reversing the lower courts.
